I have an ADR at A&C in 2 weeks for breakfast.. reviews for breakfast are outdated as it used to be part buffet I believe. Anyone been since covid? We like TS breakfasts and the options are slightly limited IMO. I thought the menu seemed rather ambitious given the fact that most restaurants are scaling back their unique menu items. Would appreciate any feedback!

The buffet isn't happening right now and the menu is scant. We were just at BW this past weekend and did a walk in breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno. It was very good (I'd go back) and reasonably priced. The dining room was empty but we ate late. Around 9:45. They had walk up availablity but nothing in the app for reservations.

You might want to check to see if there are available reservations at Trattoria Al Forno for breakfast. When I checked a few days ago there were none available at all clear into DEC.

Trattoria Al Forno I had the Two Eggs your way. I enjoyed my meal immensely. Portions are huge.

Ale & Compass Restaurant: Dark Chocolate Waffle I actually got double Dried Cherry Compote. I felt spoioled was so delicious.

Everyone preferred TAF over Ale & Compass. But your talking about 2 really good breakfasts. But that Dark Chocolate Waffle is so good.

We had wanted to go to the wave for breakfast. But staying at the Boardwalk we couldn't fit it in our schedule. But we will in January. We also wanted to eat breakfast at Fresh Mediterranean Market over at WDW Dolphin Hotel but they were closed. Boma is another breakfast that I highly recommend.

We ate here a lot pre Covid. I went with a group of friends 2 weeks ago.... The server started by telling us he wasn't used to the place because he served at Yachtsman, in a tone that serving breakfast at a regular place was beneath him. He disappeared for a while, then came to take our order, never brought our drinks... we had to ask the person who brought our meal if we could have our drinks. Finally he came out and gave those with cold drinks theirs, and us with coffee... empty mugs, and never left a carafe. He didn't show up again to check on the food, and we had to flag someone down to get our drinks. Then as we finished, and were chatting for a bit... some of us still on our first cup of coffee... he tried to rush us out. We were pretty agitated since we were all at one time working together in a deluxe resort food and beverage place.

I hope you 1- did not tip him 2- spoke to the manager at some point.

We haven't been since the reopening, but pre-closure Ale and Compass was one of our favorite breakfast spots. We don't do buffets so we'd only ordered from the regular menu and it was delicious. The chocolate waffles were heavenly, as was the breakfast flatbread. The latter doesn't seem to be on the menu currently but I'd go for the waffles alone.

Well, everyone but me is still a CM (I had to move for my husband's job), so he got an automatic 18% and knew he could treat us like that and still get a decent tip. We didn't say anything mostly because we were in awe and we talked and caught up until the last minute when we all had to go. Our group was made up of 2 food and beverage managers, 2 food and beverage CM/trainers, and me... a prior food and beverage CM/trainer.
