JUST a thought. :scratchin

I am not a big snack fan. I like the idea of being able to get an alcoholic beverage for my snack or CS credit(s)

Of course the price of the drink would decide which credit you would use.

Less calories, more fun :woohoo::laughing:

I don't think WDW will ever allow you to use a snack credit for an alcoholic drink. But stranger things have happened. :wizard:

Sorry, the only way to get booze covered by the dining plan is to book a dinner show. And I'm betting that will not ever change.

Agreed it will never happen but OMG how much more fun could Food & Wine be if we could?! :)

Haha wouldn't that be nice? I'd happily give up a few snack credits for a Lapu Lapu!

I know DH would give up a few credits for a sniffer of Drambuie or Grand Marnier!

Some of the Tequila flights or rare Tequilas in Mexico might go for a CS credit (or 2)

would be loverly to get an adult beverage for snack credit...but using the prices for snacks that are allowed - in the neighborhood of $1.5-$4.00, well an alcohol beverage snack would leave a lot to be desired since it would be a teensy-weensy drink, going by Disney prices for alcohol, lol.

Maybe 1/2 a domestic beer, or 1/3 of a glow cube cocktail...as little as a thimbleful of some of the wine offerings. Geez, I'd use up all my snack credits on one drink

Maybe they should do that...probably make them an even bigger profit on the dining plans:banana:

Will never happen, but I do need my munchies with my beer or gray goose. :hippie::cool1:

I am not of age yet, but my parents have encouraged me to do a little wine and dine with them since I was 12. I never really liked the taste, so I only drink during special occasions (and even then it's very little).

With my upcoming 21st, I have to say that this is probably the greatest idea for the use of snack credits! :rotfl: I think each alcoholic drink should be worth two snack credits, and only available on the Deluxe+ plans. Perhaps making it only one snack credit should you opt for the Premium or Platinum plan! ;) Do you know how much money Disney would be making?? Or losing...who knows! I'm just sitting here thinking what the heck am I gonna do with the excess meal credits I'll have at the end of my deluxe plan (basic was too little for me). Transferring them to snack credits is a great idea, but there's only so much room in my luggage to take them home!!

Snack credit is worth about $3. Where at WDW could you get any kind of alcoholic beverage for $3? :lmao:

I'd be on board for that!!!

I wish Disney had some sort of dining plan for alcohol... They have the "Wine and Dine Plan" but we're not big wine drinkers! But a dining plan that would give you a beer or a mixed drink with each TS meal (or X number of drinks per night of your stay) would be fantastic! :drinking1

Not only is the W&DP a horrible idea for the solo traveler (who drinks a whole bottle of wine in one day??), I just find it asinine that Disney thinks every adult drinks ONLY wine! We all know that we need something a little stronger when we got kids on board! J/K! :rotfl:

Wouldn't $20 a day for two entitlements of any alcoholic beverage be sufficient? It also is a little more tempting to pay OOP after you have run out of credits. So that would be the plus side for Disney in regards to making money.

You know I'd be ALL over that kind of plan. Plus, it would be so much easier to talk DH into more trips. Win/Win situation!
