I know there are some bars in WS in Epcot, but what about the other parks? Are there any places that you can get alcohol without actually having to have a reservation and order food?

No alcohol in MK, but you can walk over to the Wave in the evening and have a cocktail.

In AK we like the bar back by Tusker house.

In MGM, well, I guess we don't drink there anymore, lol.

At Epcot, there are tons of little kiosks throughout the WS to stop and get yummy drinks. No alcohol at MK, but plenty of resorts on the monorail that you can have a drink at their lounge (my favorite being the Tambu Lounge at the Poly). I know that most of the CS places at AK have alcoholic beverage options. The Yak & Yeti CS has a walk up bar attached to it (around by the seating area).

Most of the resorts pools have bars next to them. Hours may be limited though.

I think all of the deluxes have bars. CSR has a very nice bar. The Swan has several; I think the Dolphin does as well. I know they have a pool bar. I can't picture an indoor bar at WL, but there's one at the pool. So if the selection in a given park doesn't meet your needs, a short hop over to a nearby deluxe resort may well meet your needs. It can be a nice way to grab some relaxing quiet time, sit someplace comfy, and enjoy the entertainment/theming.

At DHS we like to get a drink to go from the Tune Inn Lounge. Dads Electric lemonade is yummy! :thumbsup2

I love the bar over in Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios, it is usually a pretty fun place to hang out in.

Can anyone give more details about the lounge at the Prime Time and the bar by Tusker House? Where are they located in the restaurants. Can you just walk into the bar at the Prime Time and can you get drinks to go without difficulty? Thanks in advance!!

Tune In Lounge (the 50s Prime Time Diner Lounge) is right next door. The Tusker House bar is outside of Tusker House on the Discovery Island end of the building. You should be able to walk in and get a drink at either without difficult, unless crowds are unusually high.

We love the bar at the Yak and Yeti in AK - just walk into the restaurant and it's past the hostess station on your right. You can sit there, cool off, and order drinks. We usually end up getting an appetizer too because they are so good, but not mandatory. Also love the outside safari bar next to the Tusker House restaurant.

We love to bar hop at the MK resorts before we head over to Epcot for the night - Tambu Lounge in Poly for a Kona, The Wave in CR for the new organic beer sampler, and Artist's Point inside the WL, next to the restaurant. Only they don't open until 4pm.

Swan and Dolphin have tons of places to get drinks - there's a lobby bar in the Dolphin and Il Mulino in the Swan has a big bar. The pool bar is great but it closes at 10 - although often the bar tender will stick around longer if people are out there. The Crews Cup Lounge in YC in a decent bar - it's next to the Concourse Steakhouse.

Primetime in DHS - there's a separate door to the left of the main entrance that takes you directly into the bar. Seating is very limited because it's usually packed with people waiting for their tables, but if you hover around long enough, something will open up when tables are called.

There's also the bars on the Boardwalk, such as ESPN club and the brewery. Just to name a few that we frequent on our regular visits!

You could always bring your own "extra magic water bottle" to the parks...ok I shouldn't have wrote this since it is against the Disney rules but when you are dragged around Fantasy Land for like four hours with your nieces and nephews (we will have seven kids with us with none older than 9 in Dec) sometimes you get desperate...you know, the strange water bottle that that has a lime in it...:woohoo:

Dawa Bar~ AK Bar by Tusker House. It is great sit there and relax.

Also, the Backlot Canteen at DHS appears to still be open.... isn't it? DH & I chill out back there sometimes too.

EP~ we like to go to the Rose & Crown!

I'll have to remember that one....'extra magic water bottle':lmao: :lmao:

keeping in mind that MK is an alcohol free park, I can understand the want. But it is a booze free zone so no magical water please
