Albertson's Questions - Coolers??

For anyone that has stopped at Albertson's for supplies, do they carry those cheap styrofoam coolers? I want to bring food with us, but do not have a cooler that can be put in the overhead.

I think one of those cheap, white styrofoam coolers would be fine.

If you mean the one on Orange Blossom Trail, then yes they always have in the past. They were right up front by the registers as well as on a shelf in the middle of the store.

I have one of those soft side coolers- they fold up small- or I use it as my carryon on the plane. I usally pack it going there and it seems to always be full of stuff for the return trip.

sklimuck beat me to my answer. We also bought one of the softsided folding ones with the retractable handle. We have both stowed it inside another suitcase and filled it and carried it in the overhead. We have also filled it with dirty clothes on the return trip and checked it. I found it on sale for about $50 at Kohls.

While we were on an extended driving trip out west, we used this every day for our lunches as well as for transferring food from location to location.

The kids thought it was terrific to picnic for lunch. I guess we haven't been doing that enough at home. It was very convenient in the National Parks where restaurants were sometimes few and not in convenient locations. We had some great picnic spots, sometimes with wildlife in the distance.
