We will be visiting Alauni this September. I would like to give my family a Luau experience. Of course I would like to see the show at Alauni, but it will be very pricy for all 6 of us. The Fia Fia show next door at the Marriott is highly rated and less than 1/2 the price of the Alauni show.

Ang suggestions or comments?

Also whoever has done Fia Fia, how is the walk to the Marriott?

Thanks

The Paradise Cove Luau isn't too bad (as far as tourist luaus go):

Paradise Cove Luau

They do the whole Imu ceremony (underground oven), a long hula show, arts & crafts, and also a hukilau (net fishing) demonstration on the beach, since it's RIGHT on the water. It's not a whole lot less expensive than Aulani, but it's a bigger experience in a larger site - 3 hours total. It's maybe 2 minutes up the road from Aulani at Paradise Cove. I understand it has lost it's lease and will be closing at the end of the year.
