Does anyone remember when Alaska Airlines does the kids fly free to Disneyland deal. They have done it the same time of year the past few years and Im trying to plan a trip in the beggining of next year.
You can call Alaska airline vacation plan they will tell you I also travel with the kids flying free there is an age limit on the kids and how many to how many adults
I called Alaska a few days ago and she told me they're definitely not running the special for the fall. She said they'd already be selling it if they were. I asked about after the first of the year and she said no to that also, but didnt sound as certain. On Wed. Alaska's cheapest fair from Seattle was $215, on Thur. it had gone up $60. I went to Travelocity and their fare was still $220 so I booked thru them. Whew!!!
the last two years it was a late winter, spring deal. Don't know when it started but we went in April this year and San Diego last year in May and did kids fly free both times. Keep in mind they think a kid is under 12 or so.
In British Columbia, the Kids Fly Free was advertized this past Nov, Dec, and January. We booked in early Jan/05 for a March/05 trip. I think we got the last few available seats on the flight and a room at the BWPPI.
If you do end up with the kids fly free promotion, make sure you research the fare. We checked it out and it would have cost more for us to do the kids fly free then to get 4 individual tickets through united. Just something for you to think about.
i am just now seeing this. last year it was spring time when they did it. i had friends that went in march or april.
the age limit is under 12 if i can correctly remember.
for those that dont know. alaska airlines is the only airlines that flys out of most of alaska other than fairbanks or anchorage.
there are little airlines but they dont fly to seattle.
Thanks everyone! I think we may be going in the spring so I will keep my eyes open for it! I checked the website and the current kids fly free is to Vancouver.
