Alaskan cruisers: can you share your glacier photos and where was your best photo with them?

Disney Parks are banning selfie sticks,only a matter of time before they do the same with the cruise line.​

I don't have a selfie stick (I actually just found out what a selfie stick is); however, I'm curious to know why they banned them. Are they harmful?

I believe they are harmful when used on roller coasters.

They were banned because some people were very irresponsible while using them. They were trying to use them at rides, or stick them out into the street during parades or shows.

We LOVED our DCL Alaskan cruise and certainly plan on heading back one day. The first two images are from Tracey Arms and the third is Mendenhall glacier and waterfall. The scale of these glaciers is not easily depicted in these images, they are so breath taking and beautiful to behold.

We actually took many photos and videos of us in front of glaciers and some of the mountains. My DW even did the ice bucket challenge on the balcony of our state room in front of the Tracey Arm Glacier. Of course I just flipped through them and my DW would murder me in my sleep if I posted any of those picture or videos online.

There was a Shutters photographer up on deck when we reached Tracy Arm. Unfortunately none of those photos turned out that great so we didn't buy them.
