I will PM all the people this weekend to make sure they are still participating.

Am I crazy for wanting to cancel my Palo brunch? I have eaten there before and know how wonderful it is, but don't know if I want to keep the reservation. We have an 11:00 reservation on the Tracy Arm, and I don't think I want to be inside a restaurant as we head into the fjord. Plus, while I'm sure the brunch is better than the barbeque lunch served on deck, I don't really want to miss it (the bbq) because it's something I haven't tried before! So, any thoughts? I know a lot of you have brunch on Tracy Arm day. Are you sticking with your Palo plans? One more thing, we do have Palo reservations for dinner that I plan to keep.

I did just go ahead and book a couples massage today. Kind of excited about that!:woohoo:

That is why we scheduled our brunch for Monday, the 25th.

I didn't want to have brunch the first day at sea because I wanted to get the kids settled in and I did not want to do it on the Tracy Arm day and miss any sights. There were still availabilities for 11:30 on the 25th last I checked.

Thanks, but I just checked and there is nothing else available. I think I will just cancel and maybe see if we can get in on the last day once we board.

:woohoo:got the boys passports today, should get ors by end of week

If anyone wants it, I made a Google Documents spreadsheet of the FE list.

Fish Extender List

Thank you soooo much! I'm not sure if it is posted to the first page, but that would be helpful as it would keep it current in case of any changes.

Also, have we decided on a cut-off date for the FE's? I guess maybe a week or two before so those leaving early on the trip have time to make/buy what they are giving out. Anyone have any ideas as to a date?

Hi everyone! We are coming down to the 60 day mark. Woot woot! I am getting emails concerning the FE but us first timers have no idea what it is. Please inform...

Looking forward to the cruise. Have a great week.

Fish Extender List

Thanks!! You saved me some time tonight, I was just getting on the computer to do something similar. I will go through and PM all the people that are listed as going on the ship to make sure they don't want to participate. We should think of possibly cutting off participating in the next two or three weeks. Thoughts?

The original poster will need to post it, that is where I have run into issues before.

I agree that we should cut it off soon...want to agree that we cut it off on Saturday, May 28th?? I will send out a PM to all people going on the cruise tomorrow if we can agree on that date, to see if they want to participate.

Hey Babsy!

Glad you asked because we are getting ready to cut off the signups. I would highly suggest going to the Cruise board and checking out the threads about FE exchanges. Essentially outside your room is a fish hanger. People on boards hang a "extender" which has several pockets on that fish. And throughout the cruise others who have signed up for the FE exchange drop off presents in your extender. I know my kids get so excite for seeing with people left for them. That is a quick snap of what it is. Let me know if you have more questions.

End of May sounds good to me

Hope that everyone had a fantastic weekend...mine sure went too fast, but that is what happens with two little ones in competition dance!

I sent out PMs to everyone about the FE Exchange. Please let me know if you have questions or changes.

The deadline for signing up is: SATURDAY, MAY 28th!!

Have a great week. :dance3:

An FE is a "Fish Extender" that is used to put gifts in to the ones on our cruise in this thread that want to join. What you do is make a FE that hangs on the Fish at your cabin door so you can place a gift in it...what ever you choose to buy or make. If you join than you place gifts in everyone's FE that is on the list as well.

Here are some links to give you some ideas.....if you don't want to make a big fancy FE just come up with something that will work for you....some just use a canvas bag or something like that, you know that you would carry things in to head to the beach or somewhere....you can decorate it with scrap-booking stickers from Disney and even get iron on letters for names and such. If you have a MICHAELS crafts store near you the possibilities are endless....

here are some links....there is a link I wanted to post for you on gift ideas for the FE but cant find it...

Hi All!

I too hope everyone had a great weekend. I went to a birthday party for a dear friend with my DH and we both had a terrific time. I made the birthday cake (the one with the telescope and gumpaste people) and it was not only well received it also tasted pretty good as well so I was very pleased overall.

I got my PM from our Fearless FE Leader Kim and have responded to her but I am going to post the info that I have here as well :-)

I have some cabin numbers to add to things, actually everyone in my group's except my DH and me :rotfl:. We are still waiting for our guarantee assignment and I am really hoping for Pixie Dust but will be happy for whatever cabin we get.

Here are the cabins I have to add:
Ron & Jane & Nathan & Emily #7020
Susan & Larry #8548
Barrett & Ken & Serena & Chad #2100

Now that our parking reservation is confirmed I am really just sitting here chewing my nails and counting down the days until we get to the ship. I have also been enjoying reading the early reports for our pioneer sailors.

One thing I am a bit bummed about is the fact that my beautiful evening gown will probably be missing yet another cruise. I finally tried it on and it doesn't fit :-(. I am also thinking that I might want something with sleeves especially because I want to actually be comfortable if the DH and I want to take a walk on the deck without my freezing to death.

I hope everyone else is having a better time with their formal clothes thanI have been.

On other fronts, I have been working on FE's and that has been fun and I am looking forward to enjoying everyone else's creativity.

Well, I think my lunch is ready so I had better write off.

Take care all, help lots of people, and have a "Wonder"ful week!

Tisza
