Alaska cruisers in Vancouver on July 30 - Disney fireworks!

Vancouver's Celebration of Light, an international fireworks competition, just announced their lineup of participating countries and Team USA - Disney is presenting on July 30!



So, if you're in Vancouver pre- or post-cruise you can check them out (along with hundreds of thousands of other people )!

My husband and I haven't seen the fireworks in probably 10 years lol We used to go every summer, every night. Then we moved to the burbs....then we had kids....then we got boring Hmmmm....it's a long weekend, so we might actually get to them this year, especially for Disney! Make a day of it and stay downtown all day! Would make for a REALLY late night for my kids though

We will be there! Will we be able to see the fireworks from the pan pacific? We have an early morning whale watch and a few days of east-west coast travel prior so being able to see them from the hotel is key!

@Disneyteachers no you will not be able to see them from the Pan Pacific - the Pan faces burrard inlet and Coal Habour. The fireworks take place in English Bay, which isn't too far away But unless you are in a very high room at the Pan, facing downtown (and thus facing English Bay) you will not be able to see the fireworks from there. Maybe just the ones that are quite high up in the sky ;-)

Bummer...no way my kids will be out that late unless the time changes screw us up. I've only gone the other direction...
