Well we have our fingers and toes crossed we still might be able to make it out of CT on Monday maybe not our scheduled flight but one later in the day.
Alot depends on storm damage and if the state is closed or the airport is closed.

I wish you all safe travel and a great trip I hope to see you all at the Dis meet at 3:15 just be on the look out for the folks with bags under there eyes and the wind blown look

Despite an Amtrak delay of nearly an hour yesterday afternoon and an extremely slow JetBlue bag drop line, I was able to get to my gate with about 15 minutes to spare before boarding started for my flight to Portland. Yikes! Fortunately, the flight was smooth and I was able to get some sleep at the Sheraton Portland Airport before I transferred to my downtown hotel today. The weather is absolutely gorgeous and now I'm ready for some downtown exploration!

My only problem is I should've packed into my larger suitcase (24", I think) instead of the 20". I've got no wiggle room for souvenirs.

My parents, brother and SIL left this morning driving, and have arrived in Tacoma and spending the night. They will pick my up in Seattle tomorrow at 10 a.m., and then we are headed North.

Will be tourist in Vancouver for a couple of days and we will see everyone on the Wonder on Tuesday morning!

Arrived in Seattle and everything was great including shuttle. We booked an Escalade since there were 5 of us plus a lot of luggage. Weather is great and had a wonderful dinner. Tomorrow for exploring.

Looks like most everyone has left or will be leaving shortly. I think that I will be the last to make it to Canada. We don't leave until Tuesday morning from LAX at 7:00am arriving in Canada at at 9:38am. Fortunately, there are a couple more flights after ours that we have us arriving in time to catch the boat should something happen to our original flight.

This is the first time that I have arrived the day of when flying and I am extremely nervous.

Oh, definitely no work for me while on the cruise. No phones, no emails and no faxes. Just my husband, me and all of you WONDER-ful DISers. Can't wait to meet everyone.

I don't think you need to worry.. We also fly out tues morning and land in Vancouver at 7:30. We even flew in the morning of our last cruise out of Barcelona! This will be a piece of cake! Maybe we'll run into eachother at the airport as we are going to grab some breakfast there or in the line at the terminal.

We are having all kinds of weather-related issues here in NJ. Our power went out at 4 am Sunday morning and didn't come back until 12:15 am this morning. I wanted to check-in online, and my sister still had power at her place. I think she kept thinking that I wanted to check "on" rather than check "in" our flight because she kept saying that she could just go online and look.

Had I known then what I know now, I would have insisted on checking myself. Air Canada canceled our 7 am flight to Vancouver, and I am now on hold with AC to reschedule our flight. If we don't make this trip, I will be so sad. We've been planning it for nearly 2 years. I hope Bob isn't having these issues.

I am hoping that they can get us on a flight out between tomorrow afternoon and Tuesday morning. If we don't leave until Tuesday, I will have to keep my fingers crossed that the Pan Pacific doesn't penalize us for canceling late.

Ugh.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I sincerely hope that you are able to make it out today. I know what you mean about possibly not being able to make a trip that has been the the making for 2 years. I will send out a special prayer for you and to others on the East Coast trying to make their way out West.

Great, Marni! We land at 9:38am so, it is quite possible that we will see you.

I'm nervous now because it is suppose to rain tomorrow in Vancouver. My husband, who is a pilot, says that he is not concerned about the rain. It would be fog or something else that would reduce visibility.

My husband asked last night if we could leave tonight and be in a hotel in Vancouver that way we would be there and I wouldn't stress so much. I said that would be nice but then we would have to change our flights and arrange for hotel. I told we could however go to LAX and stay there and not worry about the drive at 3am, but he said we should be fine.
