Alarms for DL app push notifications? (for android)

I'm wondering if there's a way to set up an alarm for the push notifications you get from the app when fast passes, online food orders and most importantly Boarding Groups for ROTR come up? I tried playing around with IFTTT and couldn't get anything to work (possibly I'm just not doing something correctly but I was also reading an update in the last year made what I think I want not function well in any case) and have read about some other app potentials but they cost money and I'm not sure if they actually will do this.

Mainly I'm concerned since we are going for an anniversary trip next week and will also be doing the After Dark events I think the spouse and I will really be needing to take some midday naps to survive since we will only be getting 5hrs if lucky at night between AD and the BG early morning frenzy but with no way to know when a BG will be called I'm worried we will miss it and I'm sure there's got to be a way to set up my phone to trigger an alarm when a certain app sends a push notification... has anyone done this?

Aren't your notifications audible? Mine are. I put the volume as loud as it can go for notifications. I would never be able to sleep through one. You can customize what sound plays and can choose one that sounds more like an alarm or bell. Try that.

A single sound won't wake us up, at least I hope not!, especially in vacation mode if we are tired enough to sleep in the middle of the day and even at full volume I don't always hear the notifications at the parks with all the background noises so I always set an alarm for the times (we will also be staying at a hotel, so lots of random noises our brains have to shut out and ignore to be able to sleep), I need something continuous like an alarm that we would need to turn off... maybe if I could get it to say my name, heh, but it would still probably need to be more than once! I have my phone set to max volume for any family texts in the middle of the night and I still need to get more than one in succession to wake me and I'm a very light sleeper actually so I'm really surprised to hear this wakes others up? I guess it's possible it does wake me up and just doesn't register unless I hear it again after being woken... I doubt I would be able to sleep if I had to worry about this in any case, which is why I'm hoping to create an alarm. I'm sure it can be done.

You just need a longer notification sound. My mom had the minions saying hello and it went on forever. You'll probably have to download something but the app I use has a ton of stuff.for notifications, just pick something loud and long.

I just don't think that would be reliable for me.... I've even missed calls while at the parks, so I'm really hoping for something I have to turn off, especially like an alarm that will just keep getting louder until you do turn it off.

Be careful about alarms and notifications while in the parks, in shows, on rides, at restaurants (especially TS), etc. Other guests may not be as appreciative of loud, ongoing alarms which you can't hear but they can. Maybe set the alarm to vibrate? There are things you can buy which clip on to your clothing or onto bracelets which vibrate to notify you of calls, texts, alarms, etc. Maybe something like that would help? One of my friends finally bought a smartwatch just because of this -- she kept missing texts and calls from her (grown) kids while she was in the parks -- didn't matter how loud her phone was, she never heard it. The smartwatch solved everything for her. Maybe it could help in this case?

Believe me, if I'm not noticing it no one else will either and of course I put my phone on silent for shows and rides! I have a smart watch that vibrates but it doesn't always catch things in some areas of the parks (and sometimes I even turn that feature off because I know I find the buzzing of others' vibrations disruptive at times), although that is not what I'm wanting it for in any case, I'm really looking to have this feature for when I'm napping... although it will still be great to have for when my phone is on silent as well since an ongoing alarm will be more likely to connect and also still be up when I do turn the sound back on. But again, this isn't ultimately for when we are at the park and I don't have an issue missing notifications or anything in general when I'm awake, I'm really just looking for an alarm to wake me up so we can catch some rest while waiting for our boarding group to be called.
