Can anyone confirm that they have 8 passenger vans available at MCO? I know the 8pax class was removed.

They had Siennas last November after the 8pax category was removed. I haven't rented a van since then, though.

Finally got through to the Alamo Desk in MCO....

Here is the scoop:

Yes we have 8 pax still available.
No you can't book on line.
Yes you can do online check in however once you arrive you will need to ask to be upgraded and pay the additional amount!

I could be wrong, but that sounds like BS to me. In November they had Siennas in the minivan aisle along with the 7pax vans. It's all 1 category. What exactly do you upgrade to since there's no category for them? (Things could be different now that they've relocated the whole Alamo/National parking area - they might have switched up how they organize the rows, but if they did, I didn't notice it.)

I agree. I'm going to grab one anyway and take the risk. I'll post the results

Me being the crazy person that I am called back again this morning and obtained additional information.

I was told the Tahoe is 8 pax and they carry suburbans in the lot as well which are 8 pax.
