Google maps/earth is showing it in the middle of a sidewalk near the AMC Theater  - does anyone know where it actually is? And/or where the cars are kept?

We booked our rental here in assumption that we could easily walk from PPH so I'm hoping that's the case! We've never been to Disneyland so maps are all I have for reference :/

It is right there. If you are facing AMC, walk the sidewalk to the right side, past Earl of Sandwich it is on the "side " of the building. My guess is cars are in the lot behind the AMC.

Let me give you a map version. The building to the far left is the Adventure Tower of the DLH.

Alamo actually has two locations nearby. The small office at Downtown Disney, as mentioned on the "side" of the AMC Theaters. And a office/lot they share with National on Katella, next to the Alpine Inn.

So there are a couple of cars they keep near the AMC Theaters, but it is also easy to get a car driven over from the Katella lot.

And since they are owned by Enterprise, they can also store cars at the larger Enterprise lot near the Cheesecake Factory on Katella.

We rented from the Downtown Disney Alamo location in August and our rental car was parked in a lot over behind the Disneyland Hotel. It was the middle of three lots directly behind the hotel - it was actually really hard to find! When we were leaving the lot we had to show our rental paperwork as you pass through the pay stations for the Downtown Disney parking lots. When we returned it a couple days later we had to pass through those same gates to park in the lot. You can just grab a ticket to open the gates and toss it afterwards.

It's a bit confusing with the map details that Google gives as standard for Alamo's office in DTD. Be reassured that it isn't in the middle of the highway :)

Just head for the Earl of Sandwich pub / restaurant area (close to the ESPN Zone), follow the Earl of Sandwich pub round to the left as far as you can go. You'll come to a path which will take you round to the Alamo office from there.

Interestingly enough, there is no mileage restriction on cars hired from Alamo, unlike some other car hire places within Anaheim. Prices are reasonable too.

Thank you guys so much! We are picking up a rental the morning we check out to head to San Diego - for a truly tourist area, I was surprised at how affordable the cars were there! And I love we don't have to Uber to someplace offsite :)
