Alamo/National/Enterprise have new Port Canaveral office

Great news!! Are they providing a shuttle between their office and the ships?

Shuttles to/from DCL at terminal 8 - Yes!

In fact they stopped shuttles from the old location on Jan 13.

Here is a Map of the new location and terminals. 0.5 mile walk from Terminal 1 and roughly 10 minutes by shuttle to/from Terminal 8.

I noticed that when I printed my reservation the other day. I've never rented through them so we are doing one way rentals next month. Paid about $50 each way for a rental. Thanks for the info.

a little word of caution wrt this change if your cruise comes or goes on A Sat or Sun

I happened to drive by the port around noon this Saturday and the entrances to the south side port area - where this new office is - were backed up half a mile or more both directions and nothing was moving . . . gridlock!

Turns out the port was hosting a Key Lime Pie Festival which was popular since it was such a nice day.

If you were trying to return or get a car ... forgetaboutit . . .

The port is hosting more and more of these events .... sea food fest, clam chowder fest, art fest .....

You might want to check the port calendar or get there way b4 the event is to start in hopes of beating the crowd

you could still get to the north side terminals, where DCL is .... and A1A was moving fine where the other rental places are (except PAYLESS)

but this place, and Terminal 1, and Grills et al ...... forgetaboutit
