Alamo minivans - types available? DVD?

We rented our first minivan from alamo last year (actually upgraded from a mid-size SUV rental), and were really happy to get one with a DVD player for the kids. When we picked up, there was only the one left (Town and Country). I'm wondering a couple of things:

What minivans are typically available?

Do they all or mostly have DVD players?

What happens if they don't have any minivans (7 seaters) when we arrive (around 3:00 in afternoon)?

As far as "type" most are Chrysler T&C or Dodge Caravan with Alamo (used to see the occasional Toyota Sienna but haven't seen any lately). I have seen the occasional CUV (Dodge Journey, Chev Traverse, etc) get filtered over into the minivan aisle though.

Alamo has a large fleet and can pull from it's sister/parent companies (National/Enterprise) if need be.

That being said, if you book a minivan you will be 99.9% sure that you will get a minivan.
If you're hoping to book an SUV and get upgraded to minivan, this is an iffy proposition.
If there is a shortage of SUV's and/or an overabundance of Minivans, then the odds could be in your favor.
If your renting in "family/summer" season and Minivans are in high demand, renting something less and hoping for the upgrade to minivan will probably leave you disappointed.

I have no hopes of an upgrade. I've booked a minivan for last two weeks of August.

The last three times we've rented from Alamo have been for a mini van. We've always selected a Chrysler T&C(we've owned one before our Toyota Sienna) and they all have had a DVD player. We just check the van first to make sure it has leather and open one of the sliding doors to make sure we can pull down the screen.

The Chrysler T&C is the upgrade to the Dodge Grand Caravan. We've never checked the Dodge so I couldn't tell you if most of those vans are equipped with a DVD player. Hope this helps!

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Will have to hope that there are lots of t&c when we arrive to pick up.
