Alamo minivan and SUV rates down for December

Until today, minivan rates were lower than SUV rates for our December dates (12/12 to 12/25). Base rates dropped for both minivan and SUV, but the SUV rate was lower so we cancelled our minivan ressie. Minivan ressie for the 2 week rental was about 385, I think. We made an SUV ressie with the Entertainment book coupon/code, total with taxes and fees 376.64

I got a lower rate too. With the weekend code extended past
Dec. 15 . I got it for Dec.31 for 3 days and then added the entertainment coupon for $15.00 off. Total price 116.71 for Dec.
31 - Jan.3. I was at $151.86
So happy dance!

Thanks for the heads-up. I just reserved a minivan for 16 days using Sam's code for $488. This beat my National reservation by $125! I did find that these good rates appear to be blacked out if you get close to XMAS because I couldn't get the rates for my family arriving on Dec. 19th. We're arriving Dec. 16.
