Alamo January Rates Are Down

Just rebooked my Alamo full size reservation for 1/9 - 1/15 and the rate had dropped about $75.00! I used the $40 off code from Mousesavers (AD4027JDO) and the Entertainment Book contract ID. Total for the rental was $101.86 without a Saturday night stay. Good luck!

That's great. I wish National would start making some movement for January too. You would think since they are sister companies that they would make similar drops.

Yeah, I'm with you there. I like Emerald Aisle but for whatever reason the National rates aren't moving the same as National. I do the kiosk check-in so it's 'almost' as good.

I guess all I had to do is post it, because this morning there was moment. My rate was $257 for a 2 weeks rental and it dropped to $243. Not much, but the first time I've seen moment since I made it. It's for a full size, so a pretty good rate.

I'm glad to see that Alamo and National rates are starting to drop now.

Wow, I thought Alamo wouldn't go any lower for my dates, but thanks to you I see that they have, and once again I have rebooked - - Jan 12 to 17, and I've moved up to a standard size car for a grand total of just $103.35!!! Unbelievable - thank you, Merry Christmas!

That is good news. I just rebooked a compact for 7 nights for $107.67 using the $40 coupon, and AARP code for free additional driver..Jan 18 to Jan 25, 2011.

Glad to help! I'm hoping that the dropping rates mean lower crowds for us (I'll be there the same week as you)! Not that January is ever busy. I've put in a request for warm weather too!

I came here to see if anybody posted the codes I found thru American Express sneak peeks, and saw your codes, and lowered my rate even more! Thanks!!! I got my Entertainment book out of the car in the freezing garage, even tho I didn't really have to. Just go to entertainment.com/alamo.

I switched from a Budget rental thru USAA (good perks) to Alamo. I have a full size car for 1/13-1/19/11 for $110. Wondering if it can go even lower...

I just booked a car rental with alamo using the code AD4027JDO and wanted to check if anyone has used it yet. I am not sure where the code originated so I want to make sure they don't ask for a coupon or some membership I might not have. TYIA!
