Alamo @ Dolphin

Has anybody had experience returning a car here since they reopened? We are moving from Beach Club to Poly on Dec. 30 and plan to return our car at that point in time. Trying to decide if Dolphin or the Car Care Center makes more sense.

If you're moving to the Poly I'd opt to drop off at the Car Care Center just because it's closer. Though you can't walk to the Poly the shuttle ride will be quick or if it's going to be a wait, you can Uber over. If you were staying at the BC then by all means I'd use the Dolphin, we've dropped off pre-Covid and it was quick and easy.

Thanks. That is the way I currently have it set (dropping off at Car Care Center). If Dolphin was open on the weekends I would just drop it off on Saturday there.

I'm trying to decide whether to drop at CCC or Dolphin. We're coming in on 12/31 and may stay at Universal for 2 nights before our WDW stay. I figure we can go to either Epcot or HS after dropping off at the Dolphin.

We've done the shuttle from CCC quite a bit recently and there's never been a wait. We even had the shuttle pick us up at YC in November to go to CCC and the driver was right on time.

You're going to EPCOT or DHS. Dolphin is easy. Pull in, tell the valet you're returning a rental car and give him your keys. Gas station right there if you need to top off your tank

Not 100% sure. Maybe not.

@Lewisc is correct......did this in early November....topped the gas up at Speedway near the BW....drove over to the Dolphin......told the valet we were dropping off a rental car....handed over the keys...easy peasy....we did tip....he seemed to be waiting for us to do so.

Thank you. I think maybe the difference from before is that you can't schedule a drop off when Alamo is closed. I'd love to return it on Saturday, but when I select it as the return location it only allows me to select it if I choose a day and time they are open.
