Alamo and Walmart Code Question

I booked our an Alamo car rental using the Walmart code (430710). I also added myself as an additional driver with my DH as the primary driver. I called and confirmed everything....but as the "Alamo guy" confirmed everything he mentioned that the reservation was booked using my Walmart employee discount code.....???

Will I have any problems? On Mousesavers it says this is just a Walmart customer discount.

Thanks for any help. I don't want any problems at the counter.

Can't answer your question for sure but many people have used the code and had no problems. Most of the sites that I've seen it on just say for Walmart customers. But this will get bumped up and maybe someone else will know first hand. I hope it works cause we're using it too in Nov.

I've used this code many times over the years. Never had any problems what so ever.

My sister just used that code (8/11-8/24/07) and didn't have any problems.

It's a customer code, not an employee code. Also, chances are that the counter employee will just pull up your res, hand you the paperwork to sign, perhaps trying to upsell you or get you to buy insurance along the way. Highly unlikely that the person will look at your discount code to see if you qualify. There are hundreds of codes and I've never been questioned about any of them.
