My Family and I are going to be in Disneyland in 2 weeks ( Woo Hoo ) I was just wondering when the best time is to line up for an Aladdin Show? Also is there any better areas to try to get seats? We were there 3 yrs. ago and loved the show, but were in the very back upper area. So we hope to get better seats. Thanks! :goodvibes

We've seen it a few times, but we had the best seats last time we were there. It was on a Tuesday. I think it was the 2:20pm show. We got in line right around 2:00-2:10pm. The line wasn't long at all. They only filled the very bottom section and a few rows in the middle section. We were about to get seats 3 rows back from the stage. It was awesome!

The other times we've seen it were on Sunday & Monday and it been really packed and we've been towards the back on the middle level and the middle of the top level.

I think it best if you can get in line just as they're opening the line for the Mezzanine. We did that once by chance, and get the front row of the Mezzanine (lower balcony). The seats were awesome! Good views of the stage, and great views of the flying carpet.

I agree with Grandbob. I really love the lower balcony. It's my favorite place to sit. I've been right on the floor before when it wasn't that busy of a day and it was enjoyable, but you get a good view of some of the "Effects" when sitting up in the lower balcony.

As for lining up. Week days I try and get there 20 minutes to a half hour before the show starts, and on busy weekend days we grab a drink, a churro and stand in line for 45 minutes. We generally catch a show around 2:00 and use that as a nice afternoon breather from crowds.

Oh we love the balcony … you always get great seats and can see so much better … esp when they come flying by on the magic carpet!!! Everyone in the balcony starts wave at Aladdin … too funny!! :lmao:

Ha Ha Ha! I totally waved! :lmao:

Loved the balcony too! i went to the 4 ish or 5 ish show and that worked out nice since I needed to wait for fastpasses to Tower. Great show!

Hmmmm.... I thought it was ending???

Aladdin? No it's not. Disney was going to replace it with Toy Story, but rumor has it that they were out voted by park guest request for it not to be replaced. It's too loved. So they are keeping it for the time being with no further discussion on it.

Is there a separate line for the mezzanine? Or is it something where they just have one line, and then they divert the line to the mezzanine at a certain point?

If it is one line, any tips for how to time it? Can you get in line and then ask to wait for the mezzanine?

We saw it Friday. We had the preferred seating with our package. We got in line about 12 for the 12:45 show. Our seats were great for the stage but the carpet flew right over our heads so we couldn't see that very well. DH is one of those "I need to be 1st in line" guys.:rolleyes1 I can't get him to see that being in the middle of the pack is often best. The advice here seems great! We loved the show. Our Genie was hilarious :rotfl2:.

:lmao: Genie is the bomb!!!! Soooo super funny. Each time we go see this show Genie always throws in new joke dialogues and puns. There is a reason he gets sanding ovations and screaming fans each show!

At least your husband can say he was first in line for the show this time around, but the next time you see it, he can sit where you want and maybe you can get a different angle. He may surprise himself and enjoy it more.
