AKV vs. OKW studio

Hi! As of right now, we are slated to stay at OKW in a studio for our upcoming May trip. After looking at recent pictures, and after years of saying I don't think I'd never want to stay there, AKV is looking very appealing to me all of the sudden!
We have never stayed at either, and so my question is: should I make the call to see if AKV is available at this point to switch? Also, since this is a short trip (4 nights), we are conserving points. I see that the studio at AKV is a total of 14 points less for the trip than OKW. Is it worth the savings? Will we be looking at a dumpster in a value studio at AKV? Even the standard view comes out to be less than OKW. I'm torn and need your expertise!
We know we would love the theming of OKW, but when I see the pics of the rooms at AKV, they look so beautiful, as OKW looks kind of like a Golden Girls episode! HAHA! They just both look great for different reasons!
Also, I have read that there is a smaller one bedroom for less points at AKV - it that the room listed as "value" on the point chart, or is that the view?

OKW is the only studio I would stay in because of two real beds. The bathroom is much larger and the room is larger as well.

And I love the look of OKW.

AKV Value is room size (converted standard rooms), not view. The value rooms have 3 less feet in the living or bed areas than the other Jambo rooms. (Which means the 1BR value does not have enough space for the pull-out chair and is limited to an occupancy of 4) I have heard that the value studio is very tight with the bed pulled out.

A Value room can have a parking lot, pool or savannah view. (no guaranteed requests)

There are also very few value rooms and the chance of getting one at less than 7 months is very remote.
