AKV visit what not to miss with 3+6 yr. old at the resort?

We have 3 nights at AKV then off to the BCV for 5 more. What are the must do's while staying at AKV? DS6 & DD3, thanks for any insight this is our first stay at AKV

I actually loved the playground area here! THe pool is great..there are lots of activities here that are scheduled etc...and a cute "parade" in the evening that originates in the marketplace with kids and instruments!

If you have a SV...sitting on the balcony is great looking for animals Except I embarrassed my family by screaming the first time I saw one of the giraffes I got so excited! lol

Pool is awesome, they have life vests for little ones who may need them, great pool bar, zero depth entry....have some great pics recently taken, just dont know how to post them!

Do try to complete all of the bead activities. These are activites based on the conservation of the animals and the land put on by the savannah guides. My kids 1 and 5 absolutely loved them. I believe that started at 9:30 and ended around 8:00. each activity takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

What are these activities? My boys will be 7, 3 and 3 when we next travel. I'm always interested in fun activities for them.

Lets see if I remember them all. There was an activity with the Flamingos (we never made it to that one),
A garden safari around the pool, music on the savannah, Animal tracking, and I believe there was one other one. On top of these activities, the lifeguards run different activities each day every hour. There is plenty to do for the kids. It was wonderful.
