AKV...Value Room vs Standard Room

Just looking for your expertise here. First time staying at AKV JAMBO...would you recommend staying in a 1 BDR Value Room vs 1 BDR Standard for a family of 4? What happens when my two teens (Boy and Girl) don't want to share the sofa? Should I plan on an Aero or can I rent a rollaway? Also curious as to where are these value rooms situated?....meaning are they spread throughout the hotel, or in a designated area ...ex. pool view, dumpter/parking lot view. Thanks so much for your help!

I do not believe they provide rollaways.

I take it you are talking about a studio because I think in a one-bedroom you'd have a sleeper chair and would not need an extra bed. I can't believe you would have enough room for an extra bed in the value studio. There is virtually no floor space with the sofabed opened. Not sure you'd have it in the standard either.

Value rooms are in Jambo only - there are none in Kidani. They are not "value" because of the view but because the rooms are smaller than the standard rooms. Value room views can be savanna, parking lot or pool. All the ones I have stayed in have been pool. Jambo standard views are all pool view.

Kidani standard rooms can view the pool or the parking lot.

I'll be interested to hear. We're debating whether to book a value or regular one bedroom for next June. The girls are 6, but one is a "squiggler" so it's hard to sleep with her. I was hoping to save the points and maybe just bring an aerobed with us. From what pics I've seen, there should be room in the value by the table, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

The value rooms do not have the sleeper chair. Those start with the standard level. If they do not want to share the sofa, then bring your own air bed, there should be room to set it up.

Only Jambo has value rooms. As pp stated value 1 bedroom villas do not have sleeper chair so there will only be pull-out sofa that sleeps 2 in living room. Value 1 bedroom villas do not have extra full bathroom off living room either.

Rollaways are not provided at any DVC resort. You may bring air mattress but need to bring sheets, etc. for it as well.

Kidani does not have value rooms (standard & savannah only).
All 1 bedroom villas at Kidani will have pull-out chair that sleeps 1 as well as pull-out sofa that sleeps 2 in living room and also will have additional full bathroom off living room area.
