AKV or WVL 60 days out...possibility for February?

I may have a bit of a dilemma. We may have to cancel our HHI trip next month and our points will be in holding. We are considering going to WDW in early February, possibly first week.

What do you think our chances are for a 1BR at AKV or WVL? We usually stay at SSR (our home) but might like to try a hotel atmosphere for a cooler month. However, SSR or OKW is not out of the question.

Never tried for first week of Feb, but I do know for a fact that the end of the second week of Feb is completely sold out. Nothing at all around Valentines to Presidents day. I tried this year around 60 days out. Could not even get two rooms with points or cash at the same resort. Just so you don't wait. I needed a two bedroom, would have settled for anything, anywhere if I could have two rooms. Didn't happen. Good Luck. Hopefully first week won't be bad.

Not many reports have been made on the availability thread for February 2011 as yet, but for February 2010 the reports still showed availability after the month was over for the time you are thinking about. The thread is not true indication that you'll get a reservation, but it would give me hope if I was in your situation. It looks like that the time around President's Day week really books up. And from an earlier post maybe bookings start getting heavy around Valentine's Day.
