AKV food questions

Hi all, our family (3 kids and 3 adults) will be staying at AKV in April. We won't have a car and we will be on the DP. I had some food type questions...


1. Any info on the Bento Box... Is this a DP item? If so what are the credit costs CS or TS? Also when is it avaiable?

2. I see that room service is offered with 24hrs notice, anyone ordered this here? If so how was it?

3. What about the store? Can I buy and refill cups here? What else is really offered? Breakfast items? Drinks etc....


4. What is really offered pool side? Refill station? Also if I get a sandwich and a drink here is it considered a CS meal?


We are eating a Sanna and I am very excited for this Just trying to get as much info as I can to be prepared before I arrive....

Yes, there is a mug refill station at both the Johari store and the pool bar. There is no fresh food service option at the store. Packaged items and bottled drinks only. Some of these items (but not all) can be purchased with DDP snack credits.

As for the dining plan, there's conflicting information about whether or not it is accepted at the pool bar. Some reported seeing it listed on a brochure as a quick service option, but I don't recall anyone actually being permitted to use credits there.

When we stayed there, we didn't mind at all not having a CS (but were only there 4 days.) The store has typical things you'd find in a convenience store- boxes of donuts, "Little Bites" blueberry muffin boxes, etc. as well as some single serving items. They also had some fruit (bananas, apples) They have milk, juice, yogurt, etc. You can buy refillable mugs here and refill them (they have all options incl. soda, coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, etc.)

Oh and does anyone know if they sell beer or wine ot both
