AKV concierge is shared with AKL concierge. The lounge is on the 6th floor of the Lodge and that is also where the 5 lockout 2 BR villas are.

All the clubs at WDW vary a little but the basic services are the same at all including for guests in the club level villas.

It's the same.

The concierge area is the same one that AKL concierge guests use. The turn down service exists for DVC concierge members just like lodge concierge members. Etc...

That's a personal decision. DH LOVES CL, so we will do it whenever we can. I would feel it was a better choice if I could guarantee savanna view, so we will always split our stay with part in CL and part in a guaranteed Savanna view.

You get daily maid service also. I don't know if this is important to you or not. It was nice to have it. The Safari's are really nice. We really did enjoy them. We did both last year. This year we are only doing the Sunrise. The food is really good. It's not enough to feed you for the entire day, but it does help with Breakfast, possible lunch. Snacks very good. We don't drink, but for those that do, it sure was there. I would think that would be worth the extra points. There were cold drinks available all day. There was an Africian Smoothie, Tea, water all day. Then there is a fridge with can drinks, juices, milk. At night, there is beer, wine, I really can't tell you which ones, never looked. All types of coffee's, teas.
I'm not even covering all the food. I can't actually remember all of it. Hot and cold. I'm going to take notes this year.

I've stayed at GF Concierge & AKL Concierge. AKL wins hands down. Take advantage of doing the safaris. The variety of foods & drinks seemed larger too. If you like Bailey's or Kahlua cream type drinks--try the South African one at night. It's called Amarula. It's wonderful!!!
