AKL's Victoria Falls-what's it like?

What hours do they operate?

Is it a simple bar lounge or do they serve a limited menu?

Quiet? Or does it overlook the lobby and so is it bothered by that noise?

Large? Or intimate?

Thanks...was wondering if we could count on it as another quiet alternative to the other AKL options. Thanks.

Victoria Falls is and odd one for me. It is located off the lobby, partway down the stairs to the lower level where the restaurants are, and on a large terrace over looking the Boma restaurant. It is somewhat open to the lobby above and you can see down into the Boma area. I don't recall it being noisy but we were there in the afternoon before dinner started. It has a couple of intimate spots but has a open ceiling and is not what I would call cozy. There was a small menu of snacky items but I don't remember what they were. it is not one of my favorite lounges at WDW but the drinks were good.

Opens at 4:00 pm. Limited snack menu, try the flatbread with the steak and cheese.
I prefer the Outer Rim at the Contemporary.

Daannzzz description is right on the money. Not quiet-not too noisy. Sort of in between. I liked this lounge much better when they used to have draft beer--particularly that Safari Amber. Now the only "different" brews they have (in bottles) are Zambezi and Tusker. Plus the "usual suspects"--.
