I heard there was story telling around a fire here at night. What kind on stories do they tell? What time does it start? Do they do it in the summer when it"s hot? Is there anything else to do at AKL for kids when you just stay at the resort all day?

When we were there in May we went outside for the story telling around the fire pit around 6:30 PM (I think) check with the front desk for the time. There were other activities during the day too that we missed because we were at the parks but the front desk will also let you know what these were. They did have cookie decorating when we were there.

The story telling was told by a girl CM originally from South Africa. She was very nice and great with the kids. The story was an African folklore tale about a rabbit. My girls enjoyed it very much and this just added to the charm of this wonderful resort.
