Will be staying here in July w/9yr dd. Anything special I should plan w/her at the lodge or keep an eye out for?

There is a Sakes Alive Thread. It is a FAQ thread all about AKL. The first few pages has lot of info about things to do, rooms, views, and dining. It also mentions that there usually are activities in the evening(sunset time-frame) for kids and families to do.
