AKL Value rooms?

Are all Value rooms being refurbished? If so, what is it that they're actually doing?

From my understanding the DVC rooms are not being refurbished, but because they are in The same area as regular AKL rooms, those rooms can not be booked due to the construction around them.

None of them are being refurbished. They were done in 2016.

They are closed off during AKLodge renovations.
