AKL to Universal...Taxi? Mears? Other?

I have 2 friends that are staying @ Animal Kingdom. They want to take a day trip to Universal. There is just the 2 of them. Which would be less expensive?

Mears is $18.00 round trip per person. We've used them several times and never had a problem. They've always gotten us there before opening.

That is a good price to me. That is what our axi cost just taking DH and I from Dolphin to AKV this past trip. $18 for the trip, not each person.

Round trip, a taxi would be around $75, plus tip.
