AKL straws?

sorry if this is a silly question but i was just wondering..... i know straws arn't available at AK park due 2 the saftey of the animals but what about at AKL? might be hard to drink out of a resort mug without one!

I'm almost certain that they don't have them at the AKL either. I think my kids always had to drink from coffee cups with lids at the restaurants. Refillable mugs had to be sipped with the lids on / no straws.

A slight inconvenience, but the rest of the resort makes up for it!

No straws. I am sure it will be ok. I never thought to use a straw with my resort mug.

We ordered the coke floats near everest (free on the DP) and they came with a straw with a spoon at the bottom and a cute pluto dressed in safari attire.

Those aren't disposable straws. No disposable straws at AK or AKL or AKV.

No balloons either, so don't buy a balloon on your first day in the parks hoping to keep it for the whole trip...

Take a Ziploc with some straws along with you. And then be careful that the straws end up where they are supposed to instead of being dropped on the ground.

Or, better yet, buy a reuseable straw either before you go or when you are there and use that.
