AKL stay 3 nights during F&W festival

As a treat I have been thinking about us staying for 3 nights at AKL during our stay.

As we are staying off sight i though it might be a good idea to go when the F&W festival is on so that if we want a couple of glasses of wine we wouldn't have to worry about the transport issue as we could use the buses.

Now we leave for home on the 4th of Oct, so that means that we only have 4 nights i think it is when we could do the F&W festival.

I am just wondering, if we waited until we were in Florida to book a room do you think there would be many available given the dates?


(The reason i am thinking of waiting for booking is that depending on how much we have left i would like to stay in a savanah room)

We stayed at AKLV on the 3/4/5/6/ october.We asked to upgrade (paying) at reception) to a one bedroom as we had a savannah studio booked in Kidani and it was fully booked those dates. I wouldnt take the risk.Have you thought about renting points of a DVC member? A lot cheaper .Thats what we do and if you can stay a mon-fri its approx 12 points a night cant remember for savannah. At approx £6.50 a point that would be £312 for the 4 nights.

if you don't care where you stay at WDW, there's sure to be at least one room available at one of the resorts...
and more than likely at all of the resorts...
however, it could well be at rack rate (which isn't cheap)..

staying at one of the epcot resorts is especially convenient for food and wine..
you can just walk back to your resort...
