AKL special cake?

We are staying at the AKL over Easter and my husband's basketball team will have just finished a stellar season; so far they are 24-3 with district, regional, and state tournaments still ahead of us! He has also won some coaching awards this year!

Last spring we stayed at BC on the CL, and after his first year of coaching with a great record I had the concierge team work magic for him daily on our vacation. This year we are not on the CL...I have tried to book it, but alas there is no room...all booked up!

I was wondering if there were a way to order some treats for him, perhaps through private dining at the AKL? I just don't know how to arrange this! Any help would be appreciated!

Oh, by the way, I have already contacted the WDW Florist for balloons and such, but I just want something else for him.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There is a way to order special items. When we were there last June, my step mother called and ordered zebra strawberries that were delivered to our room..dipped strawberries in chocolate and white chocolate to look like zebras. These were wonderful. She wasn't on the trip with us so she just called the hotel and ordered them. They are not served at Boma either. I would call early though as it's a busy time at WDW. I would just ask what sort of special items they may have available.

We got a dessert plate when we ordered the Savannah Romance meal from In room dining. I'm sure they could figure out how to charge you for it if you wanted to order it separately

Actually we ended up getting two of them. The first one was delivered with the rest of the meal and we only got to eat a couple of things off of it b/c we were too full. We decided to take a walk around the resort and finish dessert later. We were only gone about an hour and while we were gone they had come in and cleaned up the dishes, including the mostly not eaten dessert. I called and complained and they brought up a new one for us. So if anyone orders it make sure you leave a note for no one to touch your dessert
