Rooms 2507 and 2508, both on the 2nd floor of the Zebra Trail, were excellent savannah view rooms. 07 was Arusha and 08 was Uzima. I would definitley recommend a lower floor as you're practically eye level with the animals. We just got back from our 2nd trip at AKL and we were in rooms 5134 and 5132 (I think, I hated the rooms so I tried to forget them) and they were on the Ostrich Trail, Sunset Savannah. They were horrible, way too high, treetops were in our view instead of animals, when there were animals which was very rare.

On our last trip. we were in a 5th floor savannah view for 1 day. honestly I do not remember the room number. But, it had a great view. Then we were moved to a 1 bedroom suite, which had a huge circular porch. Now I will say of all the times I have stayed there that was the best view!!!!! However in MAy. I had a great room. It was Savannah view and the location couldn't be beat. It was I believe 3502 or 3052....Do you have a map with you? It had a great view and was a 2 minute elevator ride to the pool, Mara etc... If I wasn't CL this time. I would definately request that area, It made everything so easy. Good Luck!

2527. It is on the second floor, on the Zebra Trail (I think). The room is right by the watering hole, so all the animals come near. There are some great views from that area, and the second floor is about level with the giraffes heads.
Enjoy! It's a great resort!

Just back from Room #3552. GREAT ROOM, GREAT VIEW. Had 3 giraffe's and Ancolli Cattle outside our room all the time. Very quiet private area.
