AKL- resort activities not to be missed?

I see AKL has a lot of fun activities, for all of us. I am trying to decide what I really want to have a chance to do at AKL and maybe shift some of my So So ADRs for some additional resort time if we chose.
We are in each park twice other then AK which is once. I hope on that night to catch a movie under the stars. Our last day we have a 5:40 flight (so 2:40 ME) so we have morning to enjoy resort also.

Cookie decorating, restaurant tours, drumming(not sure what that is) pool party... what else? What is a must do for your family?
I am super excited for this stay!

I am so interested in any responses to your post. Thanks for asking. We are staying there for Easter 2013 and I am now very intrigued about all there is to do at the resort. In my readings, I have heard the pool is just perfect, so I want to make extra time for that. I am not usually one to stop and smell the roses at Disney, we just hit the parks hard, but this resort seems like a vacation in itself. I can't wait.

They have a kids craft room.
they have button making they are $1 a piece.....
My sister and I along with my mother each made about seven. They are fantastic!!

Also the coloring pages are free.....you just color and can watch the animals.
Hot tubs are open all night.
Movie night at the pool.
Night vision!!!! DO NOT MISS!!

If you miss the food in AKL don't feel bad. My family personally thought it was awful, there was 4 of us plus my best friend. We all hated it! :good vibes

We visit again on Tuesday-Saturday will let you know if there is anything new.

We LOVE the food at AKL, part of the enjoyment of getting to stay. My kids and DH did also.

AKL newbie here!
