Just returned from AKL. With the temperature in the 60s as advertised, it was nice that the pool temp seemed as warm as advertised. We go to WDW just about every Christmas time and usually go to the Contemporary. If my memory is correct, that pool always seemed a little cooler than the 80 degrees that they said it would be.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is the AKL pool warmer because it has newer heating technology? What about Stormalong bay? Is that heated sufficiently during the winter months? Or has Disney just recently decided to heat the pools to the temperatures that they advertised?
Swimming is an important part of the vacation for our kids and for planning purposes for next year, we are interested if anyone has insight on this issue?
