AKL Pool Refurbishments

I have just read on another thread that there is currently working going on around the pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge

Just wondering whether anyone knows how significant this work is and whether anyone knows how long this is going to take.

We arrive on the 1st July and am hoping that this work is completed by then!

Any ideas/views welcome

Does anyone know if there is a major refurbishment happening now? We will be arriving 5/13 for 8 nights and if the pool will be in a state of construction we may look to change to GF or YC.

From people's replys on other posts, it sounds like it is minor repair work, fixing the decking, maybe.

We stayed there in April and I didn't see anything escept the refurbishment sign.

Just back yeaterday from AKL. It is indeed very minor deck repair work. Walking around the area yesterday, it looks like the small section they were working on during my stay had been completed (the walkway near one of the spas) and nothing new had been started yet. The cast members and signs stated that the repair work will not effect the pool or most of the deck area at all.
