Great pictures! We are staying at the AKL for one night before our Disney Wonder Cruise departs.

Thanks for sharing. I would love to see more. I leave in 25 days for a trip to the AKL with my mom. She has never been to WDW before and asked if I would take a trip with her. How could I say no? I have never stayed here before and I am so excited.

In 2006 we booked a regular room and were upgraded at check in to pool view, but not savannah view. We heard no noise from the pool at all unless we went out on the balcony. Room wise, I would think they are about the same unless you get a suite. We had a king room.

Wish I could go back - but financially we can't afford it right now. Really missing my happy place.

If you can swing the extra money for a Savannah view, it is worth the extra expense, IMO. These are pictures from our balcony.
