We have a trip in June, staying 5 nights at Wilderness Lodge, and decided to tack on one additional night. Wilderness lodge is not available in our room category that last night, so we will choose another Disney resort. Debating between AKL (standard room) & Saratoga Springs (1-bedroom) which are priced comparably and in our budget.
Two adults, one very tall teenager & a 12-year old in our party. The extra sleeping space in a 1-bedroom and having a washer and dryer that last night are why I’m considering SS. But the theming of AKL seems so fun, and this will likely be our family’s last Disney trip for awhile. So, can’t decide if the extra space of SS is worth sacrificing the uniqueness of AKL!
Last day we are at Typhoon Lagoon (and gave our car) so proximity to parks isn’t a factor.
Any advice?
