Mousesavers is reporting that the Animal Kingdom Lodge will be mostly closed to guests from July 9th to September 1st. (If I missed seeing this here, my apologies.) They cite the disruption cause by the DVC construction was more than anticipated. Some rooms and DVC will still be available, but most others are not. Guests are being offered rooms at SSR and various other deluxe resorts for the same price they paid for AKL.
If this is true, I'm curious if this has affected anybody's ability to get a reservation at SSR? (Or at any other resort?)
