AKL Kidani vs Saratoga Springs

My family of 9 wants to stay in one room. What would you do? Our options are a 2 bedroom at AKL Kidani where we would have a 3rd bathroom but one adult would have to sleep on that no so great (from what I’ve read) sleeper sofa. Our other option looks like Saratoga Springs 2 bedroom where we would only have 2 bathrooms but the Murphy bed that one adult would sleep on would be more comfortable.

The sleeping arrangements are better at Saratoga. That sofa bed at AK really isn’t comfortable. It’s nice to have 3 bathrooms though! SSR would come out top for me. I love the resort. We are doing split stay AKL/SSR in the 2 bed villas in a few weeks, but only 4 adults so we can avoid the sofa beds!

I have never found a problem with the sleeper sofa especially for 1. There is also a sleeper chair. Assuming 9 adults…. The third bathroom.
I will add this. Older adults seem to enjoy AKL either side as there is a lot to do with nice lounges and bars. You can easily sit watching the entire day. If you are looking for a good variety of food SSR being so close to DS which also has a lot to do but outdoors.

Ask the adult that’s gonna end up on the sleeper sofa if that’s a sacrifice they’re willing to make for a 3rd bathroom or to be at AKV. Doesn’t really feel right for anyone else to decide that for them.

Sleeper sofa at AKL was really bad for my DD and SIL last Jan. They ended up just sleeping on the couch and sleeper chair separately. GS did bring a very flimsy foam topper that didn't help at all.

The sleeper sofas are horrendous, for anyone over the age of 7.
