Hi all! This is my first post on disboards but I've been excitedly reading about anything an everything on this great forum in the run up to our trip staying in Animal Kingdom lodge this September. Am super excited. Friends think it weird that me and my partner (both 25) are going to WDW - we don't care!
We've got a standard view AKL room and have a friend staying with us for two nights. My question is do all king bed rooms have a daybed or do we have to pay/special request/politely ask for one? Most sites refer to it as 'king bed (available with daybed)'. One site has got pictures of two room layouts, one king room with daybed (they call it a deluxe room) and one without (referred to as standard).
Can anyone enlighten us?
Thanks very much in advance!

You may want to "hint" if one is available when checking-in. I've gotten a free upgrade 100% of the time when going during Value season.
