AKL coffemaker question

For anyone who has been at the AKL lately, can you tell me what kind of filter the coffeemaker takes? Is it cone or basket type? 4 cup or 8? Thanks.

We loved AKL, but I don't believe there was a coffee maker in the room. I would recommend the refillable mug

We were at AKL last month and you can get a coffeemaker on request. It is a 4-cup basket filter model. I only had the large basket filters with me but I scrunched them into the smaller basket and it worked out fine.

This was a real sore spot for us when we stayed at the AKL. The hallways are so long there, and the restaurants so far away. We reserved 2 nights there, and LEFT the second evening, because it was too difficult to get early coffee. How could we have known you can request a coffee pot?

Are the filters and coffee and fixins free or does Disney charge you for them?

When I stayed at CBR a couple years ago they had those filter-packs and they charged $1.04 for them. I remember reading somewhere that AKL furnishes the first day's coffee but after that you have to buy it/bring it. Not sure if that is accurate and the CM I talked to today didn't know. I am pretty particular about my morning coffee so I am bringing mine. Thanks, Pugrpooh, for the info.

Pots are small but the first one is on Disney. If you want mousekeeping to refill there's a charge ( I forget how much). But we drink tea anyway so we just bought a box of teabags and sugar.
