AKL can you check your bags for the airport?

Hi,

In Nov when we were at POR they offered a service where you could check in for your flight and check your luggage and get your boarding pases so that you could just head directly to the gate area once at the airport. Does anyone know if the AKL offers this service?

Hi,

This was not part of DME. We fly Delta/Song down from Boston and that was supported at POR. We found this to be a great service. Just wondering if this is now at all Disney resorts or if it is/was in some sort of test phase.

There is resort check in for your return trip to MCO with participating airlines. It is part of DME. You should check out the sticky at the top of the transportation board.

If your airline participates you can check your luggage and receive your boarding pass. You can then take DME or your own transportation back to the airport.

All of the Disney owned resorts provide luggage check in service for the following airlines:

Delta/Song
United/Ted
Jetblue
Continental
American

You do not have to ride DME to use the luggage service back to the airport. Hours of operation are 5 am to 1 pm and all parties flying must be present. Persons over 18 years of age must prevent valid photo ID.
