We just found out we are staying at AKL (this is through Make-a-wish so we had no control nor any information! - not a complaint though) anyway - my parents are driving down and will be meeting us. They are staying somewhere in Orlando. Will they be able to drive to AKL to visit us there and babysit the kids? From what I understand - they may not be able to do this. If not, how should we make this work so they can babysit our kids in out room while we are not there?

Thanks

Susan

We visited WDW in Feb 05. Before we checked into the AKL, I wanted to go see it (we were staying offsite). We told the guard we wanted to visit and were let in with no problem. Just asked our name and in we went. I'm sure he will let them in, but you could double check with the AKL directly.

I loved staying at the AKL and would stay there again anytime.

Have fun!

Our niece lives in Florida and she often comes to visit us when we're there. When we check in they always ask if we will have a car while we're there and we say yes, then they give us a parking pass to put on the windsheild. When she gets there we give her the parking pass and use her car to go to the outlet malls or sometimes to dinner at another resort. It works out just fine for all of us and we have never had a problem. She just gives our name and says she's coming to visit when she arrives, then we use our room key to get in and out when we're with her.
