AKL and daybed

I thought all the deluxe savannah rooms had a daybed, but I have recently been reading where some people did not. We were planning on using the daybed for our October trip. My mom and I were going to each have a queen bed and put my 6yr old niece on the daybed. Should I be concerned about getting a room without one? Do I need to add this as a room request? What are the chances of not getting one?

We were in a deluxe room taht had a chair rather than a daybed.

I'd note it on your room request. Keep in mind that they will give priority to a party of five, so in your case it won't be guaranteed.

You're going to have a problem with what you're suggesting. The deluxe rooms that have two queens, do not have a day bed. Those that have the day bed, have a queen, a set of bunks. There are very few rooms (if any) that have two queens, and a day bed. I'll call the AKL front desk and ask if that configuration is available. If it is, add that request to your reservation, but it is only a request and might not be granted.
