AKL Activities for 3 year olds

I am going to take my very first trip to the AKL the first week of September. From what I have read in 2008 Birnbaum's (I've read this thing like 3 times over, atleast!), most of the children's activities are for ages 4 and up. My daughter is potty trained, so that's not an issue. Wondering if anyone can suggest any special activities for her or if you could tell me what special activities are offered as a standard at the AKL? Thanks very much in advance for any help you can offer!

There is storytelling around the firepit every night. You can make a bead necklace as a souvenier. There is a "parade" of musical instruments in the gift shop. Walking on the trails and looking at the animals. Don't worry, your 3 year old will have plenty to do.

We stayed at AKL in January with a 1yo and a 4yo (almost 5). The 4yo was in HEAVEN. She loved it. We did do some of the activities with her. They do a program about flamingos and how they use their beaks to eat. There is another program where they put a radio tag on a stuffed Mickey and the kids had to use the radio antenna to find him. They also had a free craft set up in the pool area one day where the kids could color a little wooden giraffe. There was also a little safari around the pool area where the kids were given a map and they had to find different plants in different areas. These were not "drop off" activities. We did them with our DD and she needed our help for most of them even though she was almost five. But they were fun, and I think the 4 and up is probably an "interest" level because I am pretty sure there were some younger kids doing the activities with their parents, but they needed more help...and the parade around the lobby is so funny, and obviously, right up a 3yo's alley.

My son 35 mo loved the flamingo feedings, the night vision goggles, the parade at night, cookie decorating, the firepit. There was alot going on every day. One day by the pool we made little dolls for like $5 fee. It was a fun time.
