AKL 1 bedroom Occupancy Question

Hi everyone,

We are planning our next stay and I would love to try AKL. We will be a party of 5, 3 adults, 2 kids under 9. Are there rooms that can have 5 occupants. I really don't want to bump up to a 2 bedroom because we wont be using the space.

Yes, all one bedrooms except the value category have an occupancy of 5. There is the king bed in the bedroom, and both a sleeper sofa and sleeper chair in the living room. Kidani will give you a second full bath also. Though most of Jambo also sleeps 5 there is only one bath.

Like Kathy said, you'll need either a savanna view or standard view at Jambo or Kidani. The value one bedroom only sleeps four because it is about three feet shorter in depth than the standard or savanna view villas. The sleeper sofa in the living room is queen sized in the one bedroom and two bedroom villas.

We've done 5 in a one bedroom a couple of times. It works out fine with the two full baths.

My rule was the couch and chair needed to be folded up sometime after they get up so it didn't crowd the living room.

But, none of the three on the sleeper couch or sleeper chair complained about a bad night's sleep.
