Thinking of this for my 6 yr old. We did Cinderella's Table, last trip. All comments please. Thanks,

Carey

We went there for dinner last week. It was a lovely meal. Loads of smoked salmon, fresh salmon, salads, seafood for appetizers. Main courses we tried included steak in mustard sauce, Chicken, fish. Lovely dessert platter.
All the girls were dressed up. Much better food than the crystal palace we went to a few days earlier. There we had cold mickey waffles, rubbery pancakes and very poor scrambled egg. Pooh was absent most of the time because he was on his break! One of the other characters kept missing out our side of the room. Poor service too and this cost us $160.

Crsystal palace has really gone downhill. Nothing like it used to be and way too expensive.

Akershus breakfast was in the top 3 of meals we had on our last trip, and AMAZING princess interaction!! GO GO GO....AND ENJOY!!

We absolutely love going to Akershus for breakfast, it is a must do everytime we are there. We are going back there in March and got an ADR before the park opens (we love getting this ADR). We had breakfast at CRT during our December trip and was very disappointed in it, the character interaction there is nothing like what you get at Akershus, plus the food there is the best. Absolutely try it out, your 6 yr. old is going to love it too :goodvibes

We did breakfast there in Aug. We thought it was great!

My DD16 loves the bkfst and I was surprised at how good the food is. We have it booked for April! :woohoo:

Yes! Breakfast was very good and our daughters loved the princess interaction. we are planning on going back!

We had a fantastic girls only breakfast. The princesses were great and we enjoyed the food.

I highly recommend it! We go to "Norway" every trip- usually twice for Breakfast.

The character interaction is IMO much better than that at the castle. My dd (now age 10) loves seeing the princesses.

The food is very good and enjoyed by all. We've tried lunch and dinner but prefer breakfast by a landslide.

Have fun!

We go every year and I think my DD7 enjoys this one as much or more than CRT. The food was good, the cold buffet had some different intersting items to sample if you are feeling adventurous, and the interior of the restaurant really makes you feel as if you are in an authentic castle. We also lucked out last year at our breakfast with Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Ariel and Mulan all making an appearance! :yay: Your 6 year old will love it! Enjoy.

We absolutely love this breakfast. It will be on ADR list for every trip. Our daughters love the princesses and the food is very good. We were there on Dec 11th and we had Belle (at the front for pics), Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, and Ariel (in the past Jasmine and Mulan). It's wonderful. Definitely give it a try!

We went for breakfast and looooooved it! If you are on the dining plan it is one of the best bang for your buck TS breakfasts - especially, since it includes a picture with Belle :)

I would like to do Akershus for a character breakfast as well. My DD (4 the week we are going the end of May) would love it! What is the best time to schedule ADR for breakfast? In May, Epcot opens at 9am, World Showcase at 11am with EMH in the AM for Epcot on Tuesdays.

Went in 11/2008. Breakfast was terrable. Princesses (with the exception of Mulan who sat down with DD for pix) were all rushed & rude. Glad we tried but wouldn't go back

I know I will be among the minority here...and everyone has their own definition of "good and bad"...but I can honestly say this was one of the worst meals I have had ANYWHERE...not just Disney. I'm assuming we just picked it on a bad day. But the food was horrible, the characters very briefly stopped at our table, and our waiter...if I had said "boo" to him, I think he would have passed out cold! :rotfl: I am by no means a "picky eater", but the food was horrible! My kids even said they will not go back and they are less picky than I am! We had an early morning ressie so I don't think it was a time related problem. Just a bad day...but bad enough that I won't go back.

The character interaction at Akershus was great... and it was fun to be inside Epcot before it was "open"... but the food was sub-par at best.

We went to the Akershus breakfast in 2006, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good, and the interaction with the princesses was great except for Aurora. We seem to have trouble with her whenever we encounter her-perhaps she needs to get some more sleep.
